Michelle Billies Michelle Billies is a Ph.D. student in the Social-Personality Psychology program of the Graduate Center of CUNY. Michelle’s research interests include participatory research methods; individual and collective critiques of and resistance to everyday policing; racial, sexual and gender liberation movements; homonationalism and neoliberal multiculturalism; black geographies, transgender studies, transnational feminisms, and affect theory; and generating narrative methods and analyses that slow, extend, and deepen the possibilities of storytelling.
