Participants will be introduced to the necessary skills and knowledge to integrate a critical PAR approach into their scholarship, research, and\/or organizing. <em><em><strong>We especially encourage applications from research teams that have projects that are ongoing or that they wish to develop.<\/strong><\/em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-secondary-background-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLScVNGWv-o02UAVAP-TnpKMlS2H-yQyMrSYHkQx634hG2aDu8w\/viewform\">Apply here!<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>THE CPAR SUMMER INTENSIVE COVERS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The history, theory, methods, &amp; ethics of critical PAR<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Building partnerships with communities and community based organizations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creating conditions for creating meaningful collaboration within research collectives<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Designing critical participatory research with IRBs and community review boards<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participatory approaches to methods and analysis: map<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engaging the arts and performance as research tools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>PARTICIPANTS WILL:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Advance current projects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop new research ideas in a community of peers and experienced critical PAR researchers (both university &amp;
